Announcing four upcoming ReLow60 L-HE models — you decide the release order
The announcement video
We are announcing four layout-specific models as the next generation of the ReLow60 L-HE, our low-profile magnetic switch keyboard series. Start with the video (about 70 seconds, with sound).
Key points
- Four models are in development: ReLow60 L-HE US / Split / JP and ReOrtho60 L-HE. All of them use low-profile magnetic switches (stroke from 1.5 mm), an 8000 Hz polling rate and actuation points adjustable in 0.01 mm steps.
- The four models share a milled aluminium case and the FSU (Fixed Sensing Unit), a unit structure that keeps the distance between the switch magnet and the sensor constant. Whatever the layout, you swap the FSU and it fits the same case.
- Configuration is done in the web configurator ReConf — nothing to install.
- The release order is decided by vote. Details below.

Note: “Split” refers to split keys such as the spacebar, not a two-piece keyboard. All four models are in development; specifications, names and design may change.

Which of the four ships first? That order is decided by vote.
Schedule
- Online vote: from Wednesday, September 16, 2026 — a poll on ReBotLab’s official X account (@ReBotLab). The poll goes live that day.
- In-person vote: Saturday, September 19, 2026 — at the ReBotLab booth at Gaming Bazaar 2026 @ Tokyo, by placing a sticker on the voting board. The booth location will be announced later.
Rules
- The question is “Which of the four models do you want most?” — one vote per person.
- Votes are tallied by percentage share: the votes from each channel are converted to percentages and combined with equal weight, so the in-person votes are not drowned out by the larger online count.
- Interim and final results are published on the results page on this site, and the final release order will also be announced on X after the event.
- The order may change for development reasons; ties are resolved at our discretion.
About the shared design
What a magnetic switch reads depends on the distance between the switch magnet and the sensor. The next models put a spacer between the plate and the PCB so that this distance is fixed by the structure, guaranteeing repeatable readings. That is the FSU (Fixed Sensing Unit). The milled aluminium case is shared by all four models; there is no gasket mount, and rigidity comes first.
